Here is my past of Nitro R/C's
First is my dad's old nitro buggy, which had a .38 engine(which is now fried because of a flipover and getting stuck at WOT and just heard a pop, and that was the end of it.)

sorry for the bad quality, taken from my camera phone, only 1 megapixel.

Here is a pic of the full thing:

Here is an old electric r/c car, that my dad and I tried to convert to Nitro R/C with an old cox engine we had from a tethered nitro R/C car from his childhood.

How we mounted the rear of the tether car onto the body of the Hijacker(the name of the electric car before modifications)

Neat stuff!! Those would be fun to check out in person some time. Those look to be as old as I am. I have to dig up my old planes from the garage rafters. I hope they are still up there!
Nice! I wanted one of those Kyosho Vanning buggies sooooo bad....in 1983!
I see one on the Bay once in a while, but I can't imagine getting parts for it. Cool buggy.
we never knew the name of the buggy, because my dad bought it off some guy at work for I think it was $40 in working condition, but about a week later is when the tradegy struck to the engine. The one we converted to gas, never worked, it started up and everything, but never had enough torque, so we would set it down, and it would go maybe 1 foot, then just spin and die. I just went up in the garage rafters today to find the buggy, hoping it was still up there, and it is, but very dusty lol.

It is supposed to be .19-.21, but he had a .38 in it when he got it, and we are looking on ebay for an engine, currently we are watching a .45 that looks like it will fit in perfect.
i found my grandpas old string nitro cars....those are nuts
that is what the back end on the yellow car thing is from, is from one of the tethered indy cars.
wow it would be awsome 2 have a buggy like the first 1
we are in the process of maybe fixing up the first buggy with a .45 engine Big Grin Big Grin superspeed!!!!!!
