I'll go!! Just gotta to run to the hobby store and pick up some parts. I'm switching jobs soon so I will be working mon-friday so weekends are gonna be looking good.
aight well when the snow is gone thats when its gonna be....hmmm and tommy u wanna help with directions...i dont the street name only where i have to turn...
It's basically 71st street and woodridge drive. Dan can help him out a little more hehe! I can probably make it out there this friday(if i don't start the new job) if anyone wants to meet up? Finally got my explorer legal to drive(yay for ghetto turn signals!) :joy: :joy: I just gotta make it up to liesure and pick up a new motor mount for the losi.
Friday is looking to be bitter cold, just so ya know.....
Then maybe not!! Hehe I still have a backflip ramp and a pretty big "front yard" so I can still bash, and stay warm.
new job?
Yeah gotta get out of the bowling alley business! j/k My buddy is setting me up with a nice job at fasenal.
tommy if u dont mind me asking what was the money like at a bowling ally???im looking around far a job and if the money is worth it ill apply at some allys around here..
Don't bother! You have to start at the bottom and work your way up! When I started 5 years ago I was makin $6 an hour, cleaning up after bowlers(not a great job!) When I started at lisle 2 years ago I started at $7 because of experience now I'm a shift supervisor(without keys) and the c mechanic and I make $9.50 an hour. It is not even worth your time or effort to try to get in it now, you have to know a lot about the brunswick a-2 and the amf 82-70's and also what oil diff oil patterns do to the lanes and the balls to get in the mechanics spot, and you have to be really good with the accuscore system they use. They are not hard to learn but you would prob be makin little money until you did learn them. Wow I know a lot about bowling alleys!
Buona Beef in Downers Grove on Butterfield has a sign out front for help wanted starting at $9/hour for the last year !!! They must be a tough place to work for. Or they can't get anyone in the area to work there.
I will never work in food service!! I couldn't deal with the customers, cause I know what I want to do to people at work right now, I could only imagine what I would do with their food in front of me!! That and the fact I'm a cert auto mechanic!
Not for you...BottledBeast! We all know you are certifiable.

lmao!!! Thats what they said about me! Also you have to be a little crazy to work at a bowling alley so you would fit in!!
I said YOU, not ME. Basic reading required. Jeez, remind me to never let you work on one of my cars!
lol dave!! U.T.I. Un-trained-idiots!!
lol.....i could never work for a food place...i could fit in a bowling ally....when im used to the people around me im wierd just like u tommy...j/k....ok so i will stay away from bowling ally jobs
