I have a Revo that is currently set up with an OS .21 VZ-B. It has a JR 8800 steering servo, P2's all around and some other small modifications. (.21 mount and foreward only conversion and aluminum single steering arm and top brace) It can have anywhere from 1-3 sets of wheels and tires with an extra set of tires. I would want to trade RTR for RTR for a UMT or roller for roller for a UMT. Let me know if there is any interest...

Dan
Wow! i cant believe it!
Haven't even race it and your looking to sell?
If i can get a good deal I have always wanted to run UMT first. I didn't have the cash to get into that so I went MT. Now that I have a motor, servos... If I can get a good roller deal I probably will. If not I will happily race the revo...
Let me say this as a new UMT racer. I am a consistent top 4 MT racer at LH this year. In UMT I can't even make the A main. It's a much much harder class to race in.

My advice is to race the revo, get real good at driving, no mistakes and start finishing top 3 consistently before hoping up to UMT. MT is a good class to learn good driving skills.
well said tune
I looked at it that way too. If I do get a deal though I have no problem running lower mains untill I get better and bump up. I have seen that it is a very difficult class. If I don't get a deal I will run MT untill I am finishing very well very consistantly...
I charge $30 an hour for my expertise! You spent 3 hours modding that thing with my help, I didn't do it for you to sell it right away.

If you trade or sell it you owe me $90
(seriously I wouldn't do that! but please see where I'm coming from) I am not going to be so quick to help you or anyone else out if it turns into a waste of time for me.

Don't keep it on my behalf either, I don't care what class or RC you run, it simply doesn't effect me. I just don't like wasting my time.
Good point Gabe. I see where your coming from and would feel the same way.
Go out of your way to help some people out and next thing you know, their selling the shit to make a profit..........
well said Gabe.
.
not to sound like a a$$ but you need to learn to drive better and be a little more courteous on the track. some bashing is expedited in the MT class but not in UMT and people will NOT put up with it to long. I'm not saying you do it or not but we have all seen the MT racing and what goes on. just some thing to think about.
so what are you trying to tell me dentguy? An occasional bump is fine and i dont do anything else so what are you trying to tell me? Just come on out with it. Say it.

Who was this to?
Is just a general comment. I have seen it myself. There tends to be less hacking in UMT than MT. UMT usually lacks beginners. Why you may ask? Because beginners don't dump $1k into a UMT and go bash/race. Beginners buy monster trucks because they're readily available, durable, go anywhere style, cheap parts, etc. I should know. You should have seen me drive last winter. If I had come out and raced 1/8scale, I would have just gotten in everyone's way.

Plus there really isn't alot of competition in MT these days. Of the regular racers, it's me and gabe. 1 or 2 guys are fast and everyone else is left behind. No fun if there's no competition. If rocco gets a revo, and dan starts driving fast with his new setup, and mich starts showing up regularly, now were talking fun! I love competition! It would be nice to show those travelers how the locals run!
I in no way wanted to seem like I used gabe to help me and then will be selling. I for the most part was curious. The only way I would have ever traded is if someone went... "here... LSP" I love the revo and will race it... believe me. That is why this was titled "testing the waters" not "revo fs/ft" It isn't going anywhere...
I wasn't talking to one person. Just what I have seen watching the MT races for a few years
the fast guys in front race well after 3rd or 4th place its brutal witch is fine if that's how you want to race. Just don't bring that style to UMT or people will not be happy with you. don't get tagged as a brasher it is hard to gain the respect back...
I know... my last race I wasn't the cause of one wreck. After my first race that was the first thing I focussed on.
Dont be like me free i have been coming to the track for 2 years and have never raced i have had trucks buggies i have had every thing u can name lol just get out there and get fast with your BB revo and have fun dude u look at some of these guy out there and there mad all the time and stuff like that just have fun ill be out there with my TTR buggy soon mike said he can help me set it up ill be out there soon Big Grin

Maybe after 3rd or 4th place they are just doing the best they can and learning with each race. That's why they aren't winning and/or moving up to UMT just yet.

I guess you haven't been there when I was there. J/K lol. I hope soon to be one of those guys battling for the one, two, and three spots.

I am definatley learning something new everytime I go out. Asking people questions on different set-ups/lines on the track. I think I am doing a good job on letting the faster people go by. I don't go to the track yet to try and come in first.

Oops....I went to the track and tried to come in first.... :bustingup Did get first in the B but not near it in the A.
I hope I can get the truck dialed in practce this sunday as I can't make it out before then. I would like to run with the big dawgs...
Don't expect to do well, but go in with confidence that your a good driver....That always helps me do better on race day. Anytime I expect to do well (like top 3) I always do terrible.
