When my wife went out today to get something I gave her exactly what Wild Hobbies described to get to seal your engine (Permatex Ultra Copper High Temp RTV sealent), well the guy at the hardware store said he had never seen copper sealent before and she came home with Permatex high-temp RTV Silicone.

Can I use that instead to seal my engine?
Does it say its sensor safe.

If it does that means fuel wont eat threw it. The copper is not sensor safe which means fuel will break it down

+1
It does say sensor-safe.

This is what it says on the back, "Gasket maker specially formulated to meet specifications for oxygen-sensor equipped engines. Withstands shock, high pressure and temperatures to 650 F (343 C). Use where superior temperature resistance is required."
