Hey Ryan, can you check the rear carrier and see how the bearing fits in it. Is the bearing tight in the carrier or kinda loose ?
ryan see if you can download the xray manual from the xb8 (ggogle it) The back of that manual has a 1/8th scale tunning bible in it.
Bearing are tight inside the rear carriers. No extra slop or loosage fealing with the bearings. Altho the plastic arms do have a lot of flex in them.

Flex is a good thing, to a point. I'd rather have susp. arms flex than break... lol
Yeah but there real flexy... I was twistin on Mr. tunes hellfire and that caught my attention
all it would need is a good set or aluminum arms like the lsp and that truck will be dialed. Got about 10 minutes of run time on this truck so far. This motor is gonna be a beast. Anyone up for practice thursday?
will this starter box work on the truck? http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info...ts_id/2414
I will probably be there on thursday mich.
yes Mich

That seems to be the same box as the associated. The associated is what alot use.
ok nevermind, no hellfire on the track untill replacement a-arms come out.
you broke an a-arm already?
you bet ya, im not used to all the power of a big block and i was having a little to much fun breaking it in. On the plus side i got the motor all broken in and tuned for the most part but now i need an a-arm. There saying early feburary for the release so i just backordered a bunch of stuff.
and tune can you give me a link to were i can get that wing at?
Mich get the AE one... I know their almost the same.
Michowski, there are a set of hellfire arms on ebay if that would help.

Glad to hear you are enjoying it. Kind of changed from the orignal "not a few weeks untill I break it in" plan. How much did it take to break the arm?? Is it close to savage tough or ???
well full speed into a garbage can and managed to clip the right suspension arm. The arm was the only thing to break. For going full speed into the can, bouncing off and doing about 4 spins after the crash i think thats not to bad to have only broken a 10 dollar part.
Sounds like it is up to par with the Savage's durability.
What wing? Did you rip off the stocker when you crashed it, lol.
you said you had a link to a wing you were gonna put on yours? link please
Ah, there is a misunderstanding. I wish the wing was available! I found a link to the setup sheet for the hellfire. On the setup sheet, it gives the part# for the wing. 87520. I'm keeping my eyes open. As soon as I find it, I'll post up the source.
Just saw this over on sgrid. Tony of tony's screws has released a screw kit for the hellfire Smile.
il be buying mine very shortly since i cant drive the truck now lol. At least I can tear it all apart and build it again.
damn 350 peices. I didnt think there was that much hardware on this truck
Tony's screw kits usually come with lots of extras, at least the kit for the LSP did Big Grin
