Nice, I've got a basket case AD1, not sure what I'm going to do with it.
mmmmm...Fresh Meat :racing:
At least there will be four of you out there.....
Hrmmm green/chrome body looks fimiliar. =P
You need to see that body in person rich! Since this was my first off-road, I was not very good at jumping/flying straight. The body is the part that suffered!

RcDad, if you wanna get rid of the AD1 lmk, I might be interested in it! And mine is basically an AD1 because of all the upgrades to it. I just need a motor, to many people owned this dang thing before me! I put a new glow plug in last night and it seemed to have a lot of pinch left? It was decently hard to turn the motor over! might still have some life!
It was RTR till I started having problems with that stupid screw that goes through the middle of the output yokes. So, while pulling the engine out I have pieces in a baggie and the front end is taken off the chassis (could very well be missing something).

I plan to put the OS engine on my super nitro when I get a clutch setup.

The body is brand new.

I think I have a bag of extra stuff that came in the trade. Let me know what it might be worth to you.

hehe I was hopin for the motor! j/k Looks good! you should keep it and race it? More people in the class the better, and cost isn't to bad considering I can't break mine to save my life!
Glad to see there is finally someone else on our team that is going to race. Looks like a good truck. Hopefully you get it out there on Sunday. As for the durability... unless you hit a wall you are pretty much ok. My FT GT had Lunsford hingepins and I ran RPM front arms only and I NEVER broke it. I loved the thing. I was just too cheap to buy a nice .12 to replace the .18 with.
Was it just the tires people were running, track was dry, or to much torque that when I was at the track at the ST's seemed to have no traction? I want to get another truck whenever I get they money and a stadium truck is the cheapest. I am still undecided. I might even get a truggy or a buggy.
I refuse to get rid of this truck! Ever since the day I drove all the way out to al's to buy it from rich, I have loved it. It was my first off-road.

If you want cheap fun a stadium is the way to go! All the parts are pretty cheap and easy to find! They are a little dificult to drive on the track though!
Well for a .12 they have a lot of power and they are small light trucks. Couple that with RWD only and when they come out of a turn they can get sideways very easy. I know a couple of the trucks were running a little to bald of tires.

Now if you are looking to get into a nitro RC 1/10 truck is going to be the easiest and cheapest to get into. It will also make you a good driver. Now if you don't think that you will have enough money to race at all then Buggy and Truggy are almost entirely out of the question as those are the 2 most expensive classes to run. They are followed by MT and then 1/10...
