Do you think that this will work? I have 2 strobe lights and 2 controllers for them, if i put a plug that will fit into my reciver and put it on the 3rd channel will it work, im thinking it probally wont because the lights are designed to be ran off 12 volts, but i had them running off a 9 volt.
You could probably get it to work, but I would suggest using a seperate battery for the strobe and using the 3rd channel as a switch. If the strobe is intended to be run off 12v, The current draw could drain an Rx pack too fast and result in a runaway.
ok, how would i set it up? cuz i have a little toggle switch. cuz im not sure how i could use it as a switch.
Easiest way, is to use a small servo (Mini-t sized) and rig up a contact point. When you trigger the 3rd channel, it will bring the contacts together, completing a circuit. Trigger the 3rd channel again to seperate the contacts....

i think maybe ill just leave it off the radio system and put it on the switch i found lol, that seems a little to complicated, i know i could do it, but i dont really want to have to buy anything.
ok, i just put it on a nine volt batt, is lasted about 5 minutes, but the battery wasnt new.
thats what i have, what should i do now, solder up the switch?
what do u push to get the 3rd channel is it just a button on the remote
yeah, its like a flip switch on the remote or just another button.
