You did a lot better than the trade you offered me involving the RS4!! That's a good looking little truck setup. I wonder....can I trade one of our rs4's off.......hmmmmm? Where did you hookup that deal?

Rc18t's are fun. I have one right now, but it is waiting on a few diff gears. Should be here tomarrow. Damn mamba 8000....

They look fun with the 4wd and all. Way more power to the ground than the Mini T... I really admire the build that Six did on his, but he really invested some coin, too!
So the Mamba is tough on gears..is there a solution for that with stronger parts, or is it just something you have to deal with, like spur gears on a P5 Revo?

do they make a balldiff?

yea im not sure about the rtr but the FT comes with two

Or diffs on a picco maxx, well besides for the ue 6 and 8 spyders...

All the RC18t's have ball diffs front and rear. FT version has the carbide diff balls and Aluminum outdrive rings though. the Problem is not the Diffs though, Its the gears. There is a company that is going to make upgrade gears with an Aluminum pinion and delrin ring gear that should be alot better but I also think part of the problem is the soft plastic gear cases of the 18t deflecting with all the torque from the BL and opening up the mesh. I shimmed my diffs so the ring gear is tight on the pinion to help make them last longer. I may try out a couple lower aluminum diff cases and run stock diff gears to see if the gears last any longer.

Yeah the Orion Big block will fit fine. the RC18 series has a motor mount with several mounting holes for all different sized motors and plenty of space to mount it.
