I was wondering if there is a Electric Monster Truck Class(E-Maxx, Clodzilla, ets\c) at LHR, or does it depend on the amount of people who show up with that type of truck. Be right right now thats all I have running besides my 1.18th's.
while i dont have one, id be awesome to see a crawler track outside..... bunch of boulders, pipe, logs, and whater ever else....
I think they will toss you in with the nitros.....Hope you have some 3300s+...lol...changing batts during a pitstop may take awhile.
orion just came out with lipos which would make it through a 15 min main Smile
Would the lipos be able to handle the bumps and sometimes crashes of an off-road course?
4800mAh for $140......

I heard one airplane guy say that he had $1000 in batteries in his plane.

I still don't think they have a class for us, yet...............

Where'd you get that sticker from?
I'll sell you one!!!

Label maker machine with clear tape.....
The crawlers are cool, but you might as well just get a vehicle people are actually racing in this market. That's why I got a 1/8th gas buggy.
Speaking of classes, are truggies racing with MT's or?
UMT - the bad boys!!!
I don't think they will be mixed, actually i know they won't be....way to many MT's out here racing now, plenty to split the classes
MT and UMT are 2 seperate classes.
Ok, say I'm in the UMT class. How many mains have they been running? I'd like to be in a C main if at all possible.
The amount of mains depends on the entries. They would run z mains if there were enough entries Smile.
there hasn't been a race yet so there is no telling how many UMT's come out to race or how many mains there will be.
The 14th race will definitely have them split, 10 trophies for each of those classes

Yes n/p
gawd, I remember races at JORROC where they ran past the z main and began again with the double alphabet heats. (JORROC = the Joliet offroad r/c racing organization competitiion or something like that) The class was 2wd electic offroad buggy and the day would start at 7am and go until 10pm. The year was 1987, and the racing was great. This hobby/sport has come a long way. Sorry to hijack your thread tho' just had to reminise. BTW anyone out there remember JORROC? I spent some long days there...
