I'm already thinking about putting my Collari .30 in it and I haven't even ran it w/ the .26
I'm no longer a Savage fan-boy. I have to say, it doesn't have the lumbering look of a Savage. I'm really digging the paint-job. Exquisite indeed.
Thanks...hopefully it will run as good as it looks Wink
Any on-road action for you this summer obsessive?
I ended up selling the RS4 SN I got from you, so all I have for on-road is the XR80...maybe when LH opens the outdoor track, but I was thinking about selling it. (I've only ran it one time since I got it)
For some reason I really like on-road, I'm looking forward to racing this coming summer.

I got them today...very cool!!! Cool
I got mine today too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are so sweet!!!!! But what are you using to mount the shocks up???? I havent figureg that out yet
standoffs? If you need some LMK I may have some that'll work
I might have to hit you up bro.... I drove to LH tonight and bought the MGT powerstroke mounting kit thinking that would solve my problems... 15 bucks later i sit in the same spot that i started in
Mabye UE standoffs??
UE's will only work if the shock cap opening is 6mm. I'm almost positive the prolines are only 5mm.

I found these super hard Nylon spacers at Ace Hardware that I used as standoffs and they work great. Only .13 cents each too!

UE makes 'em in 5mm, thats who I ordered mine from.
oh yeah they make 5mm and 6mm that's right.....
Heres what i did:

I went to Ace hardware and bought so aluminum spacers. When using the Pro-line MGT mounting kit the spacers fit right over the bolt like a sleeve and takes up all the slop and spaces the shocks perfectly. Ill take some pics later to show ya what i mean
 Replaced the OWB, added pull start...all ready to run...won't start!! This is the only R/C project I've had so many problems with!!
Dont give up!!! Change the plug!
I think I have a set of 5mm UE stand offs. I need to look but if anyone needs them pm me.
I don't know savages but can the one way bearing install backwards and you are possibly turning the motor over backwards??? I've done it! and I got it started!!
On the Picco engine the OWB has a flange so you can only install it in one direction. It's probably a bad plug. I just need to pick up a few fresh ones. I'm not giving up, it's just one of those frustrating moments.
Did you just move the bottom shock placement in an inch or?
Yes, that's basically it. Drill a new hole and space out the shock end for adequate clearance and it seems to work fine. Depending on your tire and wheel combo you may have to adjust the EPA settings to make sure the tires don't rub on full lock.
