Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:u put 50 gallons of racing on ur supermaxx!!! holy chit i stand corrected

hahaha I wish! Due to me using weak diffs, then not knowing how to shim them to boot, i've only run my SM 2 gallons in the last 6 or 7 months. Now I have 8 spider 1/8 diffs, and someone else is shimming them.

Tom Wolf (wolfs4evr on UE) put like 50 to 55 (or more) gallons on his UE Razorback then switched to the Jammin CRT cause stuff was starting to wear out.
Outbid
Are you going to bid again?
I did, I bid 888.88 but I think thats my top, its goin for at least 1500, guarenteed
outbid again, the guy who is bidding is 0700 on UE. He makes the titanium wingmount shock towers. He has deep pockets, you arn't gonna win.
wait so this guy works for UE?
No, UE let some people test them and now those guys are goin behind his back and selling them
Ya I know, its goin for like 15 bills at least
Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:wait so this guy works for UE?

The only people who got UE razorbacks were testers, I think there were 12 of them. Most of 'em either sold their trucks back to Robin (UE), or to other testers... then one or 2 of them (maybe more?) sold the trucks to the public, and they wernt supposed to... and thats how that razorback is on Ebay.

0700 (duhengineering) who is bidding on it does not work for UE. The seller doesnt either.
oh so is that why u cant get a razor back
Just bid 950 for the hell of it, now I'm done, I can't bid anymore, I wish I could set a block so I don't impulsively bid, LMAO
once you bid you can't bid again?
no, I don't want to bid again
lol, I can't afford it
Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:ok say that you get the razor back and spend what like 1200$ for the ultimate maxx truggy available. You would still prolly do better if you bought say a Hot bodies pro kit for around 500 bucks and threw a 200$ .21 in it. Im not sayin it isnt a sweet thing to have hell i want one lol, but i think if you are planning on racing its not worth it

You don't know the history of Supermaxx and the razorback though. The Razorback Prototypes were made years before anyone ever even thought of making a Truggy as a hardcore race RC. Hell the Razorback's first prototype was a Mpnster Pirate Maxx hybrid from them which was made when Savages and Stock t-maxxes were the ONLY Monster trucks out there heck there was no sanctioned race class for monster trucks then and no rules to MT racing at all. Now days the market is different If it was a couple years back and that was ebay I'd be all over it Now though there are just much better options for race truggy's. Razorback is a wicked truck but honnestly just not worth it now as there are many other options out there.

Many of the ideas you see on monster trucks now days were pioneered by UE. UE made the wide arms.. Traxxas coppied the same arm dimensons for the 2.5 maxx. UE made the first bellcrank mounted Servo saver for the maxx.. Proline copied it. Heck the first razorback Monster Pirate/Maxx prototype pics were leaked and a month later JT made a hybrid chassis of the same design. Ue was the first to really see the potential of the truggy setup. The Major MFG's coppied it.

Why woudl even bother bidding on it now. Its still got 6 days left on the auction and there are threads poping up on many RC related boards about this. Do you really think that nobody is going to bid for another 6 days?
I know its going up a redicoulos amount, Id say at LEAST 2k, lets see though
Oh, I thought once you bidded you can't bid again. I was going to say that would suck.
You can bid on it as many times as you want but with high profile items like this there will be lots of people trying to snipe the autcion. Sniping is waiting till the last 30 seconds or less of an auction and putting in bids at a fever pace to win the item at the last possible minute. Generally most people bid this way.
Now a Q... IF you EVER managed to break it how would you get a replacement part???
ya i agree with u when i first started out about 3 years ago, i wanted to get the hybrid conversion form hardcore racing to just make a purpose built truggy, but at that time there was no competition and i couldnt afford it so i just stuck with buggy.

thats cool and sad to hear about the advancements one company made

The arms and VBS are available, its what I run (minus the setbacks, which are also available if you break it). But if you break the chassis or backbone, your out of luck. The tester from crispy critters hobby shop broke his chassis where the motor mounts, and the rest was just worn too badly to be used, no replacement, so it hasn't been used in quite a while.
I never heard of this truck.
Its over a grand, and the counter says --. LOL
LOL rob, second time you posted those 2 links together
Nevermind.... :blah:
