I have a NIB 3-port NR 528 with the pull starter brand new for $180 and a NIB Novarossi 3-port .21 engine for $175. Both unmodded and NIB. :joy: :joy: :joy:
those are great deals Joe.

I wish I needed an engine
Can I get a link to some specs or something on the $175 one please?
u'll like it its a sweet mill, maybe not enough for the big straight on the outdoor track at LH but any other outdoor track it is more than enough motor. Plus they last for gallons and gallons
I love my 3 port. plenty of power even for the big dirt dawgs track.
so how big is too big for a revo??? since I do need a motor...
free these are .21 engines, Dont you need a 21 conversion for your revo?
some need tyhe conversion and some dont. The conversion is a lot cheaper than on maxx trucks though... (I meant power wise when I asked how big was too big... lol)
the 528 would be real big, I think, and the other is a non pullstart

But I bet you would be the only kid on the block with a 528 in a revo
well it depends, does ur revo do wheelies now when u have traction?
no... not really. Ok... just no.

So 528 it is. Lol... something tells me that would be fun but undrivable. Something tells me Tommy may look at one of these for his buggy...
I think a solid 3 port is just enough anything more ur just asking for blown spurs
Too bad I have a HCR skid and can't use a starter box unless I customize it. (which I may do). And I bet with a good mesh the spurs wouldnt bee too bad... as lng as in high traction you are easy on the throttle...
or u get a metal spur? right
yeah. I guess with the FOC the gears i nthe tranny would be beefy enough that a metal spur would probably hold it. I just wonder how bad it would be with wheelies... I still dont think it would be raceable... the second your throttle finger slipped it would probably wheelie over...
ouotdoor no indoor prolly yes, but it depends on how much traction ur getting. I know bobo runs a 21 in his revo (im pretty sure) and his flies
or I just need to make sure not to go WOT... I am interested possibly in the 528 but will need to look into mounting and the conversion...
Thursday bobo was running an 18...Does he have another truck?
ok ur right 18 I thought it may have been a .21 but i remember its a fantom 18
Yeah, too bad it did a self destruct on him...Bearing blew out and shrapnel flew thruout the engine and screwed everything....he said now he's going to try a .12 in it lol....
Scott cramer ran an .18 in his UMT an it worked awesome, OS TZ i think
Dang....Prolly because power/weight ratio?
It was more of being easier to control not enough motor to get u into trouble and it was just as fast as the .21's on the straight
oooh yeah I realized that when my servo travel on the revo was cut down to 1/2 it was alot faster out there except on the straights where I got whooped....But in the jumps etc I was alot faster than a revo with full travel *cough cough* dan *cough cough*

I'd recomend against the 528 in the Revo.. Thats is the same .28 that used to wheelie my 12lb JT/supermaxx hybrid with ease and the same engine that is in my Truggy now. Gabe has a P5 in his Revo and it wheelies at 20 mph and shears pins that the gears are held ot the shafts in the tranny and breaks every 3/4 tank or less. That .28 will have more torque than the P5 and will render the Revo useless for racing and most bashing because it will be completely unreliable.

If you do want to do it you will have to move the Revo's tranny forward and dremel the chassis out to clear. Then get a good 1/8 scale clutch in there..but that 528 is a pull start.. Novarossi's Pull starts are huge so I don't know if it would fit even if you move the tranny forward because the pull start would hang off the chassis and hit the rear upper arm.

HAGASAN..
Which Novarossi .21 is that? is that the T21BF
