First the Driven Production steering drag link. This is a good mod because it takes a lot of slop out of the steering. Now all I have left steering wise is to get a better servo saver.

NExt are the 1/10 TC wheel adapters again from Driven Production. They work and look great.

And My god the RC18T lowered down with 1/10 foams sticks like a 1/10 TC with lightning quick steering respone. Not for off road though of course!

I got another present from my sister and her BF that my sister said is for my RC18. I think it might be a BL because I was thinking about going 5400K BL on this but we'll see.

I still have a Woven Carbon Graphite top plate on the way too!

------> UPDATE!!! 12/31/2005 <---------------------------------------------

I got the Diggity Designs Carbon Top plate.

It requires cutting of the stock top plate and keep the gear case tops but man was it worth it. no more side to side flex. This thing corners like its on t rails now! The drag link, tightened up servo saver, and this top plate it sticks in the turns. I have CVD's on the way and already have the 5400 Mamba sitting here but I'm waiting on the CVD's before I go BL. Should be this week. This thing is going ot be fun!
that look good!! how does the steering mod work?

There is a nice Quicktime animation on how it installs. Its a replacement drag link for the steering just no where near as much slop in the thing. It bolts right on actually.
Looking good

those foams will work good on LH carpet "offroad" track i think they are gonna race on wed nights lol
lol.. the foams are for running around the empty section of the office at work. Its all industrial carpeting. I got to ahve somehitng to do on my lunch break. lol. If I run it at LHR It will be with good ol off road tires for sure.
they are puting in a carpeted track for those though so i think ur best bet would be to stick with the foams lol
yep, new 1/18 scale track going in the big pit room at the new LHR
when tex?
Not sure when it will be completed....
Is that on the other side of that little wall? There is like 2 doors in the corner that I think say employees only.
no, it's in the main pit room behind the half wall separating the room... basically if you walk into the main pit room from the track, walk strait ahead and you'll see where the track will be.
Yeah that's what I was trying to explain. There is a wall maybe 3 or so feet high and you can walk on both sides of it.
I hope there will be a stock class, and that Six's truck won't be in it.
dang thats cool. an 18th scale carpet track at LHR would be cool.

Yeah I think mine would be a bit better than a RTR RC18t. I dunno how they would break up the classes though because a stock rtr Mini-t would get eaten alive by a stock RTR RC18t and what about kits like my FT RC18 and Mini-t Pro. it would be tough to seperate classes when it comes to 18th scales.
Maybe we Mini T owners will get a head start ?
that thing looks like alota fun...

LOL. I don't think I'll need one if I ever get the mamba.
make that stock Mini t owners get a head start...like four laps.
A mini-t with a mamba is useless though. I have my mamba 5400 in my mini-t right now and all it does is wheelie constantly and is very hard to do anything with. Actaully after running the RC18t for the past couple weeks then running the Mini-t this weekend I can honnestly say the mini-t does everything poorly compared to an RC18 unless its a wheelie contest.
wheelie contests are cool....right? j/k

you gonna sell the mini-t then!! j/k six!

hehe.. it gets better. I split my battery pack into a 4+2 setup because with all 6 cells on one side the car is horribly off balanced like an oval race setup. Now the chassis is only slightly off balance with the 4 cell battery side being a tad heavier but I believe the mamba motor is heavier than the one I have now so it should be perfectly balanced when I drop the Mamba in tomorow.
