JT chassis...

I did have a JT/Supermaxx Hybrid converion. It is a complete conversion over to a Big block buggy style setup. It was a great truck but still had chassis flex problems if you ran on high grip tracks with a torquey .28. It really handled though. Now days I'd not recomend people go that route as there are real truggy's that are cheaper, lighter, and handle better. Here are some pics of the JT/Supermaxx I had...

I'd honnestly stick wiht the Predator braced chassis that you have now. Its a good setup. I'd try and save as much weight as possible and move as much as you can as low as possible or if you want to GO with More Trick UE parts pick up a racer X suspension. That suspension was the best thing I ever bought for my maxx. The difference in handling and tunability was great.

Thanks for all useful info! Since I just bought WideTrac, I'm not going to get Racer-X anytime soon. If I have spare money, I might to UE Trade program, though. It would be only like $280 for brand new Racer-X.

If I would get Predator upper deck, what else would I need? Like servo or receiver mounts? I already have Ofna tanks, but without the standoffs, so I would need those too.

Matas
usually when a UE chassis is sold used people give you the standoffs and stuff with it. Comes with tank, servo, maybe more mounts. If you were to buy a new predator kit it would come with everything you need to bolt all your stuff right up. Pretty much. There is some modding/fabbing work you will have to do. Nothing to hard, and it's well worth the work. I actually like building kits and stuff, that's where the real fun is.
