Just wanted to get some insight, i am almost done with my revo and i have a tnt modded sirio .18 on the way but eventually i want to buy a new engine and have it modded, for race use. I have a 1 inch extended chassis, a center diff gtr shocks 50wt oil, p2s all around, with trax alum push rod and alum ti rods, narrowed wabash rims with panther pythons, that is a basic list anyways i was told the os .18tm would be the best choice for racing because the sirio .23 would make the truck wheely to much but i think the the chassis and the center diff the truck could handle the extra power. any suggestions are welcome.

I like the picco 21 power, but the tmaxx isnt powerful enough to take it without extensive mods.
do they make one that fits the revo?
I'd just stick to a 18TM, reliable and doesn't grenade drivetrain parts like the more powerfull motors.
I'm thinking about going smallblock again, I blow way to much drivetrain

Joe, I think Mich has said No about his motor having been modded.
We are saving for an OS TM at our house. I guess it is critical to install a spacer on the piston wrist pin to keep the conn rod off the backplate. Search around here for the details and where to get the spacer (and extra clips for the pin).
