Well I was bored and didn't know what to do, so I thought that I would try and clean my cooling head. I was using duratrax hex drivers to take them out. I got 2 out, and on the last two the hex driver was spinning and the screw wasn't. I was like "great". How can I get those out?

The screw is stripped out or is the hex driver rounded off? Use J-B Weld and set the hex driver into the screw. Next day you can turn them out together, and then break the driver free from the screw and repeat on the other. Then use really good screws when you put it back together.
There is a product at sears you can use. Its a liquid with tiny tiny pieces of friction material in it.... You drip some of the product into the stripped screw and its supposed to give you 400% more gripping power on rounded off or stripped screw heads.

You could try to use a standard style (not metric) allen key somtimes the small increase in size is just enough to bust the fastener free.

or......... Just leave them in and put the others back!!! LOL!
Thanks guys. The hex driver is rounded off. I will try a non-metric wrench first, and if that doesn't work I will go with the J-B Weld thing. Will the hex driver be easy to break free from the J-B Weld and the screw? I know that J-B Weld gets really hard.
Worst case if it doesn't, you need a new wrench and screw, but you needed those anyway.

I don't need new wrenches. I just got the Duratrax hex drivers. I didn't think about using a junk allen wrench to do it to.
yeah just use a junk allen key.. if the JB weld is really stuck break out a dremel and cut off the messed up piece of the allen key and its good to go again.

Sounds like you need new hex drivers that are strong?? Like Dave said :frog:
I actually ment the screw is rouned off. So what your saying is that Duratrax will live up to it's name the actual driver will round off?
