ok, so i bought a 91 ford explorer xlt about a week ago. when i bought it he told me that the turn signals didn't work and neither did the rear defogger. i figured ok short in the wiring, boy was i wrong! the entire left hand side of the fuse box is melted and the turn signal fuse holder will never work again!! i paid $800 for the thing so i decided i would try to fix it, ford no longer carries the fuse box and junk yards don't want to pull them out. so i was going to wire up an in-line fuse for the time being till i could get a wire harness for it(come on painless don't let me down) so i dropped the fuse box today only to find a huge jumble of wires and the reason the fuse box melted in the first place! so idiot decided to cut the o.e. box out and put another one in. well instead of wiring it corectly he spliced in speaker wire everywhere!!! the box is f!@#$d. i now have no choice but to replace the whole wire harness!!!

thats like when u buy a motor thats says one gallon through it, never over 230 and it looks like somebody hit it with a flame thrower...really pisses ya off lol

thats the prob i'm not really that pissed! i just wish he would have told me this upfront. the plus side to this is the motor has less than 30k on it the trans has less than 500 miles on it and so does the clutch! the only prob is it doesn't have turn signals! and it needs a new paint job!

no i just need to get rid of the red! i hate red cars! that and the interior is red to :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: !!!!!!!!!!!

ya im not a fan of the red interior...makes the hole inside look like a velvet rope lol

You don't need a turn signal by law... just stick your arm out the window. :bustingup
