The FT RC18t all by its self

And finally the Mini-t before I pulled all the electronics off it.

Now I gotta paint the body.
Cool. I wish I had one.
wut motor is in there?
Nice pick up! I just need a few factory team parts to make my RTR to the Team version.
what ESC are you running, looks like a Micro GT or a Spy.
can i have your mini t? lol jk
Basically what I'm running is as follows..

Stock FT RC18t
Novak SPY ESC
Hitec HS56 (I'm not 100% though I know its a hitec)
CheapBatterypacks.com Intellect 1200 6 cell packs

Motor.. In these pics its got a Great planes 280 sized BB ferite Airplane motor (serious torque but little rpm) but I also have a Trinity Mini Machine Monster termination (silly high RPM motor) and I have a Trinity Cobalt 16t motor that I've not even used yet.

thus far its great! I've been driving it aorund the house kinda easy to get the diffs broken in a bit and adjust them. Its squats and goes when you jump on the throttle not like the wheelie happy mini-t. The RC18t's got a lot of steering too and is soo smooth and quiet compared to the mini-t. The greatest part aobut the RC18t though.... there are NO stupid microscopic Sized e clips like on the Mini-T! God I hate those tiny stinking e clips on the mini-t!

I'm keeing the mini-t for now. I'll probably keep it around and get it running again with new electronics but use very mild motors in it.
ha, i still have my stock motor if u want it, lol
That old advice about getting an e-clip in your eye was started by a MiniT owner. You have to have your face about an inch from the truck to see what you're doing with those micro-clips!
I just noticed how small those e-clips actually were today. I had to put a new rear shock tower on because someone stepped on it. LOL
Hmm... I have been screwing around with tires from the Mini-t and stock Min-t tires are a lot grippier than the stock RC18t tires. Hehe I just bolted on some completely bald old mini-t tires for some hardwood drift action too.. lol. Man big power and 4WD is soo much easier to control. Well time to readjust the diffs. They are loosening up pretty good now.
I love my rc18t.... I mainly run it in the warehouse at work.. Mines stock but moves out well!
MAn I just can't leave anyhitng alone!! New stuff on the way for the FT RC18t... I ordered up a clip on heat sink for the motor, MIP CVD's for the front, a Carbon fiber top plate from digity designs because this chasis flexes like crazy which just bugs me, a driven productions drag link to take out the slop in the stock drag link and some 1/10 TC car wheel hex adapters because I have a couple sets of 1/10 TC wheels laying around I could run the RC18 for giggles. I'll post pics when I get the new stuff all installed. hehe!
jeez, i wish i had enough money to put all of that stuff on my trucks lol
stuff for the mini Rc's parts are cheap.. heck all the stuff I listed is costs about $50. Not bad at all compared to larger scale stuff.
well i can say its not all cheap. i got a friend hooked and he got a rc18t ft for his birthday in september and he went all out and got a mamba 8000 and a 3s li-po and mip diffs and cvds. yea thats his $600 birthday present
$600 for a fully pimped out BL 18th scale is cheap compared to doing the same thing to a larger scale where the same kind of setup would cost twice as much or more.

Personally though the super powerfull BL's on an 18th scale is overkill. Just silly to have all that power just to break driveline parts every other run.
