i was looking at the traxxas cite and waw this!http://traxxas.com/products/accessories/...opfuel.htm
Nice. I will switch to O'donnells 30% when I am done with my remaining 20% gallon. You have to shim your head correctly if you use that high nitro content fuel to keep from detonating you engine to pieces.
Be prepared for the FOUL odor associated with the O'Donnels. You might want to get some Nitro-Scent too..... The O'Donnel's is good fuel, just smells horrid....
yeah thats what I got now. Smells terrible compared to trinity but it works great.
33% Top Fuel? sweet!

I never change shims when switching to 30%. Never had any probs yet!
I might switch to Trinity 35% Monster Horsepower when I put the Sirio in.....
just make sure if you go to a specificly higher nitro fuel that its something thats always in stock at the LHS cause once you go up, you can't come back down.
I've seen people go up and back down with nitro content without problems. I haven't tried it yet. Smile The Trinity 30% I use seems like it gives the truck more RPMs and just more power throughout. I still need to run more gas through my truck and get a good tune going.
yeah but 30% wears your engine differently than 20% which can cause long term issues when switching back and forth that will affect performance and tunability.

Who has trinity 30% around here. My LHS only has 20%. I did find one in aurora that has o'donnells 30% that I will get as soon as my gallon, but its hard for me to find 30%. I bet al's has it.
Hobby warehouse on 111th and Southwest highway has the Trinity Platinum 30%, which is what Tex runs, and they also stock the Trinity Monster Horsepower 35%. Both are always in stock. I like the MH 35%, because of the higher Nitro content, AND higher oil content. The Platinum is only 8%, the MH is 12%
