midway airport got 9", i got around 6" (on the ground that is)
Took me almost an hour to get from St. Charles to West Chicago tonight! North Avenue and Rt 38 was moving so slow it didn't even register on my speedometer, and I spent most of my time on those roads running about 900rpm, with occasional runs up to a staggering 1500rpm!
My parents aren't even bothering making the 5 hour drive from chicago to highland park tonight!
now the snow is at 6 1/2 - 7 inches and its still snowing!!!!!!!!!!!
I really don't want to go to school. Right now they are behind on the streets so I hope it keeps snowing...

I'm torn on wanting more snow and not wanting more snow. I love driving in my Camaro in the snow wne there is no traffic around. all powersliding around tunrs on surface streets and doing doughnuts but the 1.5 hours of 5-10mph driving on 53 today I could do without. luckily I had the screen and one of my Xboxes in the car. I had a Slipknot live concert DVD going for a good portion of the time.
I got 8 inches in Downers Grove so far.
9 inches in good old Plainfield!
