Koz I didm't even think to call you. My bad. I drifted last night and tonight with between 2 and 4 other cars. Twas awesome. I care about my tires too much right now to do it dry. When I get my snow tires/rims I may, but I doubt it. When I get my nice tires for my 17" wheels next summer there will definitely be no more drifting/burnouts...

LOL aint that the truth, i have my permit also(1 month, 3 weeks, and 5 days till I get my liscense), not like im counting, but ya, my mom would shoot me if I did that, LOL. She goes crazy when I accelerate to hard, in the envoy, LOL!
lol.. ok all this talk about mom's and driving not a snow story but kinda funny.

I had a 95 Z28 some years ago and droped a 383 stroker motor in it and a lot of other work and turned out 386rwhp. my mom wanted to go to her office really quick and since my car was blocking the driveway she asked if she could take it. I said go ahead but DON'T get on the gas hard ever. 5 mins later she calls and refued to drive the car back home! she said she gave it gas to pass a car and it downshifted, spun the tires and scared the crap out of her!! lol.. since then I have had a 98 LS1, 95 3.4l v6, and currently an 01 Z28 and she has refused to drive all of them! She won't even move them out of the driveway.. lol!

on a side note I miss that 95 Z28. it was totaled by a drunk that t-boned it as mach 10 while it was parked in the street at the townhouse I used to have.

rocco i must disagree with you on this statement! i think fwd cars are more fun to do donuts in because in reverse the driver is spinning around in a big circle! in rwd cars the driver is basically stationary! also i took out my explorer today(just bought) it's got the 4.0 short block with a 5 speed, holy blue balls batman!! this thing hauls. my other explorer had the 4.0 sohc in it and doesn't even hold a candle to this thing!
Doing donuts with a FWD car in reverse is funny looking. Way more in a RWD car, especially if you get the right steering and gas input. You can just keeping spinning and spinning... I had some fun times in my mustangs...
damn today going to the races it was all farm country and big hills and nothing but snow. Put my truck in 4wd and just went at it. Was doing turn at like 20mph were a normal car would probly spin out at 3-5mph. Just hooked up and powered through snow streets and steep hills. Man 4wd is SWEET
RC races?

Although this one didn't do half bad with good tires on it either, I could even slide it without using the parking brake (not that I could if I wanted to though.................)

You knowingly put your mother into a Camaro with 386hp in the snow???????????? That's a loving son. Rolleyes
4WD is nice Smile. That's why I bought my trailblazer Smile.
Yup great having 4WD with a push of a button. Reason I got the Tahoe !!
reason I got my truck was because of that button. I actually had to use it to get to the races yesterday climbing those steep snow hill roads.
well i put the motor back in my buggy today and decided to have some fun with it, since i fixed everything that was wrong with the motor it ran decent, idle still high though.

That's not too bad, my parents used to have a 440 Six Pack, 4-Speed, Super Track Pack '70 Charger R/T (Dad rebadged it as a Charger 500, those normally had 383 4 bbl's Big Grin ), Mom used that as a daily driver in Minnesota, Illinois, and Iowa for 6 years untill it was totaled after stalling near the top of a BIG hill in western Iowa and not getting it stopped before hitting a ditch at the bottom. One day she went to the store near the bottom of that hill and tried going back up it to get home, after a few tries, she took a different route that wasn't so steep. Dad had no problem getting his work beater '62 Plymouth up the same hilll though Big Grin

Do you guys have full time 4wd, part time 4wd, or part time that switches on and off if the computer notices wheel spin? I've got a transfer case that offers a basic but reliable on demand 4wd, I pull the lever into part time, full time, or 4 low when I need it Big Grin

No snow on the streets but it was winter time and the car was on some road race Yokohama A032r so the rubber on the tires were rock hard. lol! but no snow I'd never be able to move in the snow with that car with the stall and gearing in that car.
thats why i bought my blazer for the winter 4wd..... i hardly use it thou i like going down the street sideways..ive only been in 1 ditch this year...and only hit 2 sighns but the doughnuts in rwd is so much better then fwd i had a cavalier for 2 years and i beat the piss outta it in the snow and i gotta say rwd is alot funner...intersections is the best sideways and everyones like panking to stay away from u its fun...
