Switched to 1 servo, JR650. Moved that left, and ziptied my pack on the right. Put the receiver where the battery was, pushed to the right, and put a switch that I found laying around on the left. Then I cut off the rest of the top of the box. Looks great, just not sure why exactaly I did this right before it snows out lol....
Pretty simple to do.
looks nice but that receiver is very vulnerable next to the gas tank like that. Make sure fuel doesn't spill there
Hmmm....Mabye a lexan guard is in order for tonight....
Or a balloon ? Looks good.
balloon might even be better
Think I'll go with the shield, just since I might need to access the channels screw, and with a balloon, I wouldn't be able to do that.
Looks good. I definetely agree that some extra protection for the rx incase of fuel spill is in order.
when the revo first came out a lot of guys were mounting a rustler tank on the other side of the truck said it was easier to fill, and the tune didnt change as the level in the tank changed
Nice truck!! I was going to do the same thing, here is a pic what steve sladdin has on the traxxas website. I think he put some kind of a cover on the reciever. Take a look at the pic.
Oh by the way are those komodo dragon tires?
i did the same thing, but i zip tied the rx to the top of the batt. this keeps it away from the fuel.
then you can get rid of the rest of the box
