Just wondering if anybody collects diecast models? If so , what do you collect and where do you like to buy them?

I pretty much collect 1/18 scale cars and trucks. I prefer to buy them at a diecast shop in Brookfield but sometimes I buy them online too.
I got all my cases and alot of my cars at the place in brookfield, been about 2 years since I went there.

I started a few years ago t0 collect 1/18th Diecast Ponitac Trans Ams, Firebirds, and GTO's. And of course I have like over 1000 hot wheels/matchbox cars that I have been collecting since I was kid.
I collect 1/18th diecast. I have over 70. Most are ertl, but I do have a few Lanes. I just recently started collect Muscle Machines. My collection basically contains the mid 50's cars thru the muscle car era.

I collect for fun, I take them out of the boxes, I have customized alot of them. I really enjoy them. I have been to the plac ein brrokfield a few times, they are a littel pricey, I get most of mine at ebay.
Can't remember what size the nascar die casts are that I have. I will take some pics later. I don't have a lot (maybe about 30 total) but a lot of them are rare like earnhardt's wheaties car, superman car, delco car... I have a fair amount...
The nicest i have....

I'm not into die-cast much, although I do have a few. I prefer plastic kits myself.
I have a nice little Dub collection myself
I collect for fun. I cant buy them and let them sit in the box. I like to collect all kinds of cars from muscle cars, to trucks, to dub city and maisto is making a line of cars that is like dub city. The one car that I want but just cant spend the money is a 70 chevelle, red with balck stripes. It was just like my dad's car but it had tan interior not black, almost bought it until i noticed the tan.
I have some...mainly 1970-1973 Camaro's, cuz I have a real '72 SS.
I also like the plastic models because you can paint and build them. It's good time with the sons during winter when trapped indoors.
