I cant really listen to slayer anymore, I start having weuphoric flashbacks to times I would rather not recall. IN no particular order:
Jazz- All forms, but I love, Miles Davis, Monk, Gillespies, Ellington
Blues- All forms, but I love, Hooker, Howlin wolf, sun house, Muddy waters, Hendrix
Classical-all of it-But I love Vivaldi, Chopin, beethoven,
HipHop- BEastie boys, tribe, roots,
Rock/MEtal/Pop: FooFighters, 24/7 Spyz(defunct), BAd Brains(defunct), Exploited(defunct),I like the ol'misfits too, Old metallica (in moderation), Nirvana(old and new), Zepplin, beatles, who, MC5, Iggy pop, lou reed, TAking heads.
I cant think anymore- I am an artist guys, so my influences are many and varied.

Music is like wine, it's you like what you like.

I used to listen to mostly metal ands rock, but I got hooked on country about 6 years ago. When you spend a lot of time driving far from major cities, you appreciate being a country fan. It's easier to find it on farmland radio than MegaDeath. I'm not in to dragging lots of CD's around in the car.

ps: I'm not 16 anymore. Heck, I'm not even 36 anymore Rolleyes
drum and bass is petty cool. I've been playing a local DJ's CD recently, DJ Frosty...album is "Decoy"....good stuff!

when it comes to rock....Pantera, old Metallica, chevelle is awesome. I just like hard, gutter, guitar riffs

but again if I was to pop in a cd of my choice it would be rap about 95% of the time.

Me neither but I've had an MP3 jukebox for a couple years now.

PopRC mentioned a couple more I like.. the beatles, SRV, muddy waters, Stepenwolf, old Black sabath, Old rolling stones, the 90's punk/ska stuff too like mustard plug, Mu330, less than jake, The pacers (broke up after one album sadly) ohh and a more obscure local irish group called The Tossers.

Buy XM! My dad drives probally close to 100k a year trying to find bussiness and he listens to one station the whole time! XM
Im definetly gonna look into XM they ruined all the good radio stations in chicago, 94.7 Q101 all suck now
XM is great when you do alot of driving to races. I got myself one of those boom boxes that takes the XM module out of the car too. Great for having in the pit area....
Money well spent !
