Im saying Joe's Stone Crab, Best....Restauraunt....Ever
Gibsons....Been there once in my life lol...Or something like Geno's or Ed's.
Depends on what kind of food you are looking for. Pizza is got to be aurelios.
Depends again....Deep dish or thin crust....Giodano(?)s for deep dish, aurelios for thin IMO. Did you get the rims shipped?
Oh no. Forgot to send you a PM. I will send them Monday for sure priority. They should be there Tuesday. If not Wednesday for sure.
I like Houstons. Pizza is Giordanos. Tons of different mexican and chinese restaurants. Gibsons is good.
Yeah... I dont know the name of the place, I think its like el taco tiqurea burrito grande tu casa, or somthing like that.... Its a Taco Joint on Farnsworth Ave. in Aurora. It Rocks
potbellys in downtown naperville! for pizza i go to phils in the city don't remember the street though!
Oven Grinders. hands down.
Baci's Italian in Plainfield has to be one of my favorites.

I also like a couple different mexican joints, Mi Hacienda in Darien is great.
Here is a link to oven grinders.

I think part of the reason why I like them is that they are old school. Cash only...
Joe's Stone Crab is ok for seafood but I prefer the room at Shaw's (Squirrel, I'll have to show you a copy of our $2800 dinner tab from Joe's, for 6 guysBig Grin).
The Chop House for steak. Magnum's meatloaf for lunch. Aurelio's (the original in Homewood) for pizza. White Fence Farm for a good family chicken dinner. The Walnut Room in Marshall Field's and sit by the tree.

They are building a new spot in Lombard at Yorktown. Claim Jumper's. I've eaten there in Cali. Great food and lots of it for the $$$. Be sure to try it when it opens.

Dude, IMO Baci sucks...Very bland...And the meatballs were a nasty grey color when we got them. The pizza bread app. was good though....
It's a chain, but I like Maggiano's for Italian.

Also, it's been around for ever and kind of overrated, but I love taking people out to Morton's (any of them) for a celebration, because you can smoke cigars at the table afterwards!
Thin crust pizza, its Baccinos at 75 E. Wacker. Deep dish Uno's or Lou Malnatis. For mexican food lovers Frontera grill on clark downtown. All you can eat Fogo De Choa Brazilian(expensive). For burritos quick Garcias on western and Lawrence. For great authentic Italian, any of the restaurants in old italy(on 24th and Oakley) like Brunas, Ignozts, il vincinato. For Sushi I like Midori. For Thai I like Rosededs on Lincoln in Lincoln square. For Scandanavian Tre Kronor, great little restaurant with great food, excellent breakfast( get the eggs benedict, my wifes aunt owns the place). For middle eastern, Andies on Clark and foster or Rezas.
Giordano's for pizza, hands down, but I'm a little biased Smile.

Wildfire can cook up a mean steak. Lalo's has good mexican and killer margaritas to boot.
Lalo's is awesome for mexican. good call!
Brunas!!
La Mex
taco bell Rolleyes
ok all of you except Pop are confused about where to get pizza. the only place to get good pizza is at lou malnatis the pizza is amazing. i dont understand how you can even compare it to uno's or giordarnos or however you spell it. when you want good pizza go to Lou's. Plus the my gym teacher is the son Lou malnati and free pizza everyonce in a while makes the deal even sweeter.
Ditto on the pizza! Lou Malnati's is the best. I get the feeling Giordano's is more of a south side thing. Who cares! Lou's wins hands down. For a little variety, California Pizza Kitchen is good, though not authentically Chicago. Duh.

As for other food, I hate to say Chipotle has the best burrito in town (I know it's a McD's chain!) Sorry. For more authentic burritos, El Famous comes in a close second.

Buffalo Wild Wing is my new favorite for chicken wings, with Buffalo Joes of Evanston a close second.

Steak, Ruths Chris' by far. Oven seared at 800 degrees I think. Awesome.

Italian? Head to RoseAngelis in Lincoln Park for a tucked away little gem.

For Italian beef there's none better than Annies in River Forest. What? Portillo's? Whatever! Portillo's sucks.

Seafood? Bob Chinns in Wheeling my man, Bob Chinns.
