ill know more at the beginning of next year, but im 60% getting a building in rockford area,(long story on that) and i was wondering if there would be any interest in a track, and what you would like to see there? if this happens, it should be mid spring to early summer. let me know.
Are you 60% sure you're getting it, or you getting 60% of the building?
60% shure of getting the land and the building.
It would always be nice to have another track in the region to visit during the summer. Obviously you'll need a core group or local club to support your track. Many of these guys don't like to travel very far to go to a track. How big is the hobby in Rockford?
thats what im looking into now. i think there is 1 hobby shop out there, but i dont know how close there is a track to rockford or what kind of store the hobby shop is. the building doesnt have to be a track, but it is something i allways wanted to do.
Green Hornet, I know four guy's that live in Rockford. They race MT in WI @ the Rockpile. You should check out the LHS. I know you will get a better idea of how many people are interested. I live in Chi, and travel 2.5 hours to race. I would gladly visit your track.
Keep us informed on your decison to open the track in Rockford.

I would make the drive... not too far from here I guess.
i would also make ther journey to rockford to check out the track. would you have it indoors then or is the building not big enough for that?
it would be big enough for inside and out side.
that is a lot closer to me than leisure so i would definately come out there and play around or race. what ever the case maybe.
I'd go check it out for sure
If you build it we will race.
cool, like i said before it would be next year. but ill know soon about the building and the land.
next year is approaching very quick
I can't wait to see what you come up with
Heck if the track can accomidate indoor and outdoor electric and Nitro off road and on road I think you will be busy with it.
I like the Nitro but with Winter approaching there really is no where to go.
I can tell ya I would go there and my neighbor who is just starting out.
Leaisure is a bit of a hike for me.
