I'm so excited. Glock 17. Not the prettiest gun out there, but it's the only gun I've rented that has never jammed or not fired, or whatever. It's dead reliable, plus light weight for easy aiming (at least for me).

What do you need a gun for?? Just wondering.

7, it's for target shooting. I love it! It's a great feeling to fire a firearm. Summer equals = outdoor clays and winter = indoor range .

I'm also very safe with them. For instance, there are no live rounds in my entire house and both my shotgun and handgun have trigger locks on them.

I have a Desert Eagle .40. Very sweet handgun, I have the nickel finish so upkeep is simple. And since theres no kids in my apt... Its loaded with hyda-shocks. :getsome:

Tune, Glock 17 is a great choice!! light weight, porcelin slide, plastic grip,17 round clips. :drool: In 4 years i've never had ANY problems with it, it was very reliable. I regret getting rid of it in a trade ( cash & .44mag) but times were hard and I did what I needed to do. I used to live at the range, at least twice a month with my girl, but have'nt been back in a couple years. Shooting a 9 1/2" barrel .44 mag with a scope is fun but gets old pretty quick, not like my glock that was easy to tow to and back from the city discretly, now this big monster is a pain to take anywhere, and after a day of shooting and reciting DIRTY HARRY's " Do you feel lucky punk" my hand gets pretty sore and bruised, i'd rather rent @ the range . The Illinois ban has been lifted, so no more wimpy 9 or 10 shot clips.

the 17 slide is indeed steel and the frame was Nylon 6.

I like the 92FS as well. Another good service sidearm that has served our country well.
If I had the money (and how many times do we start with that statement?) I'd go for a Sig P226. Always liked them.


Add a Hogue HandAll grip to that Glock and it's a nice pointer.

The D.E .50 is pretty ridicules, I've shot one on a few occasions. If you try one handed with it you'll probally brake ur wrist or knock out some of your own teeth from the recoil!! I've shot a few.40s, Never shot a .40 D.E but it is more ideal compaired to the .50 or the long snouted monster I own. I like the 9 and 10mm's and 40's too. If I were to go to another large caliber it would be a .45 ,Glock 21 or something, a mossberg shotgun (don't know much about shotguns) or a nice rifle(don't know much about those either)
