the pic has small puddles which means it was freshly watered
The responses hooked there right?
Guys i would just like to say it was really great to finally meet all of you guys after talking to you all here. Sorry if i wasn't as socieable as i normally am, somethin about 2 hours of sleep doesn't agree with me well lol. I had a great time racing with everyone and I can't wait till leisure opens up.
+1 for the not being able to wait untill leisure opens...
is that gonna be the new track???dunb question but i never got to see any of the leisure tracks..
All I can say is this. The new track will be simply amazing. People will travel to race there and I see it hosting races (bigger races) in the future. Will be groundbreaking...
well they will be hosting a proseries race for sure, but im sure in the next few years it will get some national races. The track is huge, not to mention the gigantic onroad track they will be building.
Good to meet you to mike!
Oh and of course I'd like to thank the Newb's crew for such a killer race...It ran really smoothly and we got done quick
DENT TEK RACING Except no substitute

That's a nice photo Roc and good job!
Stupid question (my specialty) but how cold was it indoors at that race? And will it be as cold at LHS when it gets open? How do you tune for an indoor winter race if it's that cold? Gotta be tricky!
It was between 36 and 30 throughout the day... Tuning isnt that hard
Thanks tex!

Roc, that's indoor temps? Thats cold, baby!
yeah i was temp gunning the staring tables and stuff. It got colder all day. they had a large wood burning stove that helped but it was still coooooold
At least you got paid !!!
yeah, it was a great day.
Is the LH track going to be heated in any way or are we looking at roughly those temps. The last track seemed warmer but I can't remember if there was heating...
30-36 more like -20 degrees by that open door. Me and gabe where freezing are asses off during pit stops.
ya i had to pit for the man himself SONNY OOOOOOOOOOO and i was freezing. Wasnt as bad as driving tho because at least the pit people were moving when the cars came unlike the drivers.

I asked that same question and Bernie answered that the drivers stand will have heaters to keep the drivers warmed, but the track has a massive air mover system to keep it fresher in the building, so there's no easy way to keep the whole track really warm without generating indoor smog. Drivers will be warm, trucks will be cooler. Pit guys, I don't know?
There is heat in the pit area, and heat over the drivers stand on the track.
