Something just is not right about this picture.

Not bad... snow chains on the front wheels of a RWD car. Funny.

That would make for some mad drifting...

No, that's a Mustang...it MELTED the rear chains off!

The thing that is wrong is that the person was even driving it in the snow in the first place. That's what Expeditions are for!!!!

I have an 01 cobra that my year round car... Its dynoed at over 320 hp at the wheels so needless to say i have well honed winter diving skills!!! LOL!!!

I knew my comments would bring out the Mustang drivers....

How does that Cobra handle snow on slicks?

Surprisingly... If you have descent tires that have a winter rating the car isnt all that bad!!! But ive had lots of practice... Alll ive ever driven has been RWD fords my whole life. A lincoln mark 7, a GT, and the cobra

I used to make do with my Camaro as well. It was only when it got deep that snow was a problem.

I have the biggest problems with blowing snow... It doesnt take much to get my car movin sideways

i cant get enough snow for my vehicle. All i simply do is engage the 4wd on my 31 inch offroad tires and let the fun begin.

Hey rocco, you have it easy lol. I have to drive in the snow with a solid axle, 4.30 gears, drag radials, and a clutch that was like an on/off switch. It sucked!

two words FORD EXPLORER only prob is rear wheel drive only!

I don't see why those chicks have chains on anyhow. The snow's melted. It just looks like water on the road to me.

P.s. never got stuck in the snow on the train or bus!

There are pro's and con's to all methods of transportation.

The bus..................................we'll, that about covers the bus.
The train; you can drink on the train. That takes the "suck" out of commuting.

Ive never had a homeless guy ask me for change in my car ethier bruce!

Yeah, but I would rather have a GT, Cobra or Rousch version instead the weak 6.

i drove my stang every day before i got my service van. never had a prob getting stuck. but it sure is fun to just nail the gas and slide sideways thrue an intersection!!

Yep until you look out the passenger window and see the local POPO sitting at the light two cars back. DOH !!!!

same here but with GM cars.. first car was a fiero, then all camaros. I've never had a winter beater just a second set of rims with snow tires on them. No serious problems except one winter I got caught in a storm the day before the new snow tires came in. What was worse about that was it was my old 98 LS1 that had 315/35r17's in the rear and 275/40's in the front and they were Yokohama AO32R road race tires. The car stayed in the parking lot at work that evening. Heck my v6 was lowered 2.5" with a Koni coilover adjustable shock setup and I still drove it in the winter. I sure did plow a lot of snow with the front air dam.
