engine is bogging real bad when running in grass....on pavement it it picks up RPMs prity quick but still kinda sluggis, my first thought is the cluch shoes (quite worn) ordered new ones, ive tryed messing with the tuning, to no sucess. could it be any thing other then a worn out cluch?
can you explain the temps and smoke and all that. Sounds like its just outa tune. If its a new clutch i would take the engine off and use some light sand paper on the shoes and clutch bell. Then use a paper towel or rag and wipe off any dust. Then Take it out and try it. If no luck il look at it saturday at berwyn
bogging or overevving and not accelerating....?
temps are around 230...bogging= WOT no acceleration, ill have my new cluch in a few days hoping thats the problem
Sounds to me like a tuning issue. May be a little too Rich, but it's hard to say for sure. Usually, if it is a clutch, The engine will either Rev and not engage (shoes not making contact or slipping excessively) or it will run normal while on throttle and die when you are on the brakes (Shoes not releasing).

Is this on the Buggy, or the Savage? If it is on the Savage, with a 2or 3 speed, it may be possible that the clutch springs for the 2 or 3-speed assembly may have worn, keeping it in 2nd gear. When it is "bogging" does it seem to run better once it starts getting up to speed? If so, this may be the problem.

I may be wrong on what I've mentioned, but these are the only problems I have experienced with a bad clutch.
its the buggy
didn't you blow up the clutch on the buggy? or was that the savy? i remember now, the stock clutch couldn't handle the power of the ws7 2! (niether can you i might add) j/k
ya but i got the cluch from the savy on there til my new one comes.
today i figured it out the carb was loose....now the beast screems!
