Here's a couple pics of the ramp Firesprink and I put together today for the Bash next weekend. We also put it through quite a vigorous testing. Sorry there are no videos yet (Thanks to a GREAT Chicago victory tonight, I am in no state to post vids.)

There will be video posted tomorrow.

backflip central right there. Cool
Look at the angle on that! Back flips with ease!
5 bux says it tips when you hit it Wink

I'll take that bet... Let's make it $10 or $20.... Wink

We tested the ramp through approximately 5-6 tanks of fuel (Between my Revo, Fire's Revo, The Jato, and the MT2. The Ramp never budged. It is Solid as can be.

I admit, in the pics, it looks a bit TOO steep, and unsteady, but that is the angle of the pics. We even THREW it over the fence by the school where some of the testing was done, to be sure it was solid. It held up VERY nicely. Backflips and Frontflips were pulled with EASE. The Jato, with Bill's insane engine choice, pulled a triple backflip, resulting in a broken front A-arm.
yeah, but it was worth it!!!
btw, the trucks are fixed! the motor came loose on the jato (quick fix) and 2 long screws in the bumper mount and the revo is fixed. that .18 in the jato is insane!!! how many thimes did the tire rip off the rim? :headbang:
Is that like a 45 degree angle?

I envision another ramp that's like a 30-60 drafting triangle. You could use it in either direction 30 degree or 60 degree just be flipping it around. Is 60 degree takeoff like hitting a wall? never tried it!
Yeah, I think 60 deg. would be a little harsh unless you had a gradual incline to transition into it.
45* looks steep without a trans plate, to me anyway.
well, my revo took a chunk out of the center of the ramp. so 60* would be a little harsh. we had to think of storage and transportation. thats why its short. but it sends you about 12' in the air. and you can lay it down the other way and it is even steeper.
Nice! So Firesprink, how do you like the Jato? I had been kicking around the idea of getting one.
Having trouble converting to .wmv, so the vids are Quicktime.

Revo front flip

Jato front flip
I can't get them to work.

i like it. i droped an os .18tm in it and that made it insane!! ive never realy been a stadium truck guy, but it is alot of fun. and easy to control in the air.

right click and save as. then you should be able to down load it.
When I get back home, I am going to try to convert them to a different format. For now, They are Quicktime. I know some people do not have (and don't want) Quicktime. Another option, is called "Quicktime Alternative" It is NOT quicktime, it is a codec that allows you to play Quicktime files without having quicktime.
OK Guys, let me know if this link works. I tried to convert the original Quicktime movie to a different format.

Test video
Sweet!!!!!!
tried the test video, doesn't work without qt for me! btw nice ramp, i'm gald the buggy is done for the winter after the bash
Try this one. It's my FIRST attempt at video editing.

Havin' Fun
the vid works fine in the last one!!!
Sweet, Thanks.

In your opinion, how was it? It was the first time I tried editing. There were 8-10 different clips, and adding the Music background.
