CLick me... Smile

hehe.. this is where my landmax plays. :p
that lot looks FUN!
How is the surface? Is it smooth enough for 1/10?
its not bad.. I bring a broom with and sweep some areas up and walk around and pick up any rocks I find. It has some slight dips where car tires sit around the yellow lines that can upset a 1/10 in a hard turn and the sewer grates will flip just about any RC on it lid even though they don't look bad but there are only a few of those.

a couple friends used to head out there and set up a track of sorts using large cones and race around. on weekend afternoons its completely dead there. Heck last sunday I ran almost a gallon through the landmax there all the while changing setup to get it dialed the way I like.

I took This pic and this pic there too. you can see the surface in both those shots up close. Smile
do you run those sporttraxx tires on the asphalt? I would like to hit that with you soon as I know its real close by. I need to test out my new truck and the repair on my other truck.
I run my sportraxx tires wherever and they do fine on asphalt. I bet a whole day beating on them in the parking lot would do some damage.
I usually put on the stock maxx tires for pavement running but I have run the sporttraxx tires on pavement. They don't wear super fast like most pin tires do for some reason.

This lot is just north of the Schaumburg airport off rt 19 irving park road. Its a company called BISCO. its right next to the daily herald printing plant if you are traveling down the elgin ohare. well here's a link to their web site.. http://www.bisco.com/
let me know some day when you will run out there, I'd like to hook up and do some on road rage.
If its nice out I'll be there for a while sat afternoon. Usually I'm there sunday afternoons though. Durring the week the lot has lots of cars parked in there until late.
Wow!!!!! talk about missing the obvious... A few posts above, Six says where it is located, and did everything but draw a map.....
nice lay-out. need to find a place like that to break in the new motor in the tc3. (old one didnt have enough a$$)
what motor did you get for it? whatcha doing with the other one?
I work about 5 mins away from there. I think it would be cool to hit that soon. I will try to get there next weekend as I have plans for my dads 50th birthday this weekend.
I have run the bowties on the pavement for about 3 mins and all it did was spin and slide. Definately not the best tires on the road and I have heard that they wear out real fast on hard surfaces.
Not sure if I like the Big Joe tires that came with that truck. They are brand new and the servo doesn't have enough guts to turn them. I may move them or find another set of 40's tires to put on those rims. Too bad I can't affort two airtronics servos. maybe if I keep this truck (yeah right, like I'd sell it) I will get another servo like that one for the bigger tires.
I know where that's at! I'll be checking that place out, maybe this sunday late afternoon.
Tune, I take it your not going to compete in Monster Jam this Sunday?

a sirio evo2 .12. nothing f planed for the other one.
Wow that Sirio is gunna make that thing haul a$$
We should get some cones or tubes and set up a track there one of these days. Could even turn it into a bash day and bring out those wooden ramps. My TC3 may actually shift on that surface with that much room.

the only thing i dont like is its a bump start only.
