Sorry for the horrible title, it just popped into my head. Anyways, here's my truck. Motor is in background, awaiting a new manifold.
So just leave some good comments. :blah:
come race that lime greevo on sunday
Saturday....What's that? DirtDawgs? I don't think I can make it...Too far for me. :p:
Sunday. and joliet isnt very far from elburn. just get to 47 and head north.
the first pic didnt make too bad of a backround for my puter lol
lol, that truck looks familiar! If my memory serves me right, it has a new clutch, body, wheels, tires, and a fresh tune by me
.
bigd sold you a nice revo, you'll enjoy it
.
Yep, it's my background now too.
Sorry, but elburn is too far away, it's not my decision, it's my parent's.
And yup, Mr Tune, it was big d's. hehe Got it for $300 and $15 for a gallon of gas.
That revo is race ready (incase you didn't know). The suspension setup is the same as mine
.
Lookin' good dude! Nice ride!
Thanks everybody. Tune, I changed it just slightly. I put the pushrods in the rear to the innermost hole, I was bottoming out waay too easy.
Also, today I ditched the cheasy start for a pull start. Got a new header too, and traxxas is sending me one at the same time. So I'll keep one normal and cut 3/8" off of the end of it and try putting on a regular coupler- I've heard it's like getting a new engine!
:joy:
Bottoming out is good. Plus by removing the ez-start, you're saving like 4-5oz of the rear. I would consider putting the rod back in the middle spot. The more is squats the better the traction
.
a cut header gives you more RPM but you lose torque. it's a trade off. It's not "like a new motor"
Alrighty then. Back to the middle hole it goes. Also, My freggin motor mount broke=killed spur...So I hope I can get some money soon.
First National Bank of Dad loan?
lol both parents hate the hobby basically.
