so I finally got my hands on a camera for once and took a couple pics of my revo.

Note:
throttle servo mount
lexan shields on rear arms and under chassis
EBmod P5 with OS 2050 pipe and 1/8 scale clutch
custom linkage

There is a list of mods but we won't get into everything Cool
lookin good man!! can't wait to see it at the bash! that thing has to rip with that big block on there
Thanks tommy!
Gabe you can't beat the reliability of a big block. Especially a P5.

That 2050 pipe is that for low end or top end? Not familiar with that pipe.
it's a low-mid (more mid) pipe. Gets better fuel economy than most but kills top end a little. Still flys
Mmmmmm... jealousy.... (For some reason I don't think thats how you spell that word... hmmmm)
Gabe you should try a 086 pipe on your p5, it made mine come alive...

That's the only reason I went BB, I didn't want more power than a TM, I wanted better reliability. you hit the nail on the head Cool

I will if I get the chance. Can I try yours sometime? I would hate to buy one and not like it.
ya... just let me know when you want to try it...
coo
I have been thinking of changing my set-up and running my Supermaxx Thunder chassis just so I can run a big block engine.
and you'll have an extended chassis out of the deal. I'd do it.

I doubt your truck will be any heavier, maybe a couple oz's
not so people get confused but if you ask me the tm is just as reliable as any big block. I went all day sunday without ever touching the needles from when it was like 50 degree's out till like 70. Everytime i tempted it i and other people saw like 240 for a max. The way i take your post is saying that all small blocks are not reliable but thats just not true. I would have to say mine is just as reliable as yours but it just doesnt make as much power.
you have a full UE tranny?
whatever mich, how many motors have you went through? point proven.
I bet your next post will be full of exuses why you went through soooo many OS motors
3 in the past year. on my 4th now and going strong. Dont forget i used to bash everyday and race on the weekends so my stuff was rarely ever just sitting. I can say tho i got at least 3 gallons per engine. But then again that was before there was a fix for this motor so now i should be able to get like 6 easy.
but whatever times change and things finally get fixed like they should have been from the beginning so to stay on topic

Nice looking truck tex. Finally glad to see you got some pictures up.
Tex Wrote:you have a full UE tranny?

Yes full UE trans is what i currently run on the predator. Really the chassis would be the only change along with the motor.
thanks for the props Mich!

Bri, the swap over the the longer chassis could be a good move! I guess you won't know until you try. Then you have to work the bugs out of the swap before you really see the Thunder Chassis' potential.
Do we ever stay on topic on these forums?...lol
no but at least we can say we try lol.

Mich, what is the fix for the OS 18?
Looking great Gabe. Can't wait to see it run.
