as you know i've been in this hobby for a couple months now, just bought a picco/omega .21 off one of the users. ok now for the question, will a flywheel/clutch from a force .28 work on a picco .21? i put the flywheel on and i couldn't spin the motor take it off and i can spin the motor to the pinch!
your not supposed to turn over a new/cold motor. You are messing it up! Hope that helps!

oh and the flywheel/clutch should fit, BUT occasionally some flywheels don't fit certain motors.

As an example I took a clutch/flywheel off my OS .21 and put it directly on my NR .21, it fit fine on both motors.
yup gabe is right on! most all the .21 clutch setups will work on any big block 1/8 scale engine. the exceptions are very few.. Kyosho GS21's have a goofy special flywheel.

about the engine not being able to turn with the flywheel on. all I can think of there is you are tightening the flywheel way to tight? I dunno.. did you remember to put the Cone shaped washer on then slip the flywheel over? dunno what else it may be. I'd not try tunring over that engine much by hand until its broken in. If you have to turn the engine by hand make sure there is a lot of lube in that thing!
i'm not turning it over all 360 degrees (ooopps didn't know that)! yes the cone shaped thingy is on before the flywheel, no i'm not tightening the flywheel to much(i don't think)! was talking to rich a couple of nights ago and he told me to get a spacer kit for it! said that the dust shield might be hitting the motor case(it is) so i will pick one of those up tomorrow at al's and see if that works! if that doesn't i'm taking the grinder to the damn flywheel! j/k thanks for the help
u might need a washer between the cone shaped washer and the bearing, i had that issue on my hyper .21
got the shim kit, even though someone didn't show up!! j/k we'll see i'm gonna put it together tonight and see what happens
you should always put a washer against the bearing then you can tighten the clutch nut as tight as you want and your flywheel wont rub on the engine case
alright thanks everyone for all there help tex- thanks for telling me about not turning the motor over dry, six- for being you j/k dent-washer seems like a good idea snake-for the fix. put the shim on and it worked fine. fired right up(not a good idea to do in your basement at 11 p.m. ooops) thanks again guys.
