Beautiful truck!!!! Let's get it dirty!!!
agreed lets do it wow ur sooo lucky that looks great.
I like the black wabash wheels
I hope you got a smoooooth trigger finger with that big ass motor and a 15/38 gearing! You can't go forward when the tires are spinning. Come and find me, I'll loan you a 16t bell.
Yeah, I was planning on switching to 16/36 before even trying to run it.
Love the black rim look on it
Nice paint tooo!!!
definatly a nice looking truck. Rims and paint job go together really nice.
nice truck!! at least youre only doing one. i have done that to 9!
that is some killer paint!

Thanks...Yes, I build all of my own stuff
paint too! He's a bomb painter!
Hey Tex, any links to a decent clutch set-up??
1/8th or 1/10th ?????

You might have to move your tranny forward about 1/16-1/8th of an inch for the 1/8th scale clutch.
Thats all...no biggie. I have 1/8th scale stuff.

What about 1/10th? Do they make a decent set up?
You might want to think of using a 3-shoe flywheel from a Ofna Hyper7 (38mm) or an MBX5 (36mm). This will allow you to go to a 17t or 18t bell with that BB motor mount you have. You need to run at least a 17/36 (2.1176 ratio) or a 17t/35 (2.0588 ratio) maybe even an 18/36 (2.000 ratio) with such a big motor.

You'll want this narrow Racers Edge 17t bell. It's 5/8th instead of the usual 3/4". http://www.racers-edge.com/store/custome...446&page=1 or the 18t http://www.racers-edge.com/store/custome...446&page=1

Gabe is right, you will have to elongate your holes in the chassis to move the tranny forward a little bit.
or just simply drill new holes right in front of the stock holes. That eliminates the chance of the tranny moving around on you.

best 1/10 scale clutch I used was the Integy 3 shoe AL clutch, believe it or not. I used it on my midblock picco.21 and it was ok, didn't last but about 1/2 gallon though.

With a .21 you REALLY want a 1/8 scale clutch.
Funny...I actually think I have all of those parts already.

-18t CB
-Ofna alum clutch shoes "purple" med. I think?
-I have a couple of 3 pin flywheels...not really sure what they were from. I'm pretty sure 1 is an Ofna

Which springs do you suggest??
1.0 will do fine
Sounds like you're set... Get your ass to the money race on the 23rd and make sure you introduce yourself!
My wifes having foot surgery on the 20th...I probably won't make that race. But I'll be at the bash on the 29th...you going to that Bruce??
