On Speed Channel there is a drag racing show called Pinks. Last episode I watched last night had 2 ChiTown racers. Does anyone know the guys in the show? One ran a Camaro and the other a TransAm.
Dont know the guys but I watch that show every week.

A black late model trans am and a green Camaro (i think it was like a 97)
I like that show. It's funny to see people get mad. A lot of drama and speed. Two thumbs way up.

I dont care for the whole "gimme the hit" or "give me 15 cars" lead thing... For me its heads up . Go on the green and hope for the best.
I know they do it to make a less powerful car have a better chance but if you cant run with the big dogs dont run your mouth!
Heads up is fine if there's nothng on the race. With titles at stake, you need some form of handicap or who would race? It is funny to watch every week how the better car guy always sandbags.
i'd sandbag to!!! your racing for pinks! it would be like gabe with his revo racing me with my savage(no arguement gabe would win) but i'm sure he would let me win at least one! j/k you would want to make your car seem slower so the guy doesn't get as much of a handicap! thats why they should do it bracket style. you both get a dial in time and you can't break out or you lose automatically. lets say a 22 second honda civic went agains a 4 second topfuel, the civic would get to leave the line 18 seconds before the top fuel. it's very fair with absolutely no sandbagging aloud. does mean a civic COULD beat a top fuel dragster though!! haha j/f/w/the civics

I was about to buy that Black Ls1 trans Am over my Camaro last fall but decided against it because it it was modified beyond what I wanted and knowing the guy that owned it probably sprayed the piss out of the engine with a 200 shot. It was Tom aka BirdofPrey's car from the Chitownracing board. The green caaro was just sold a month ago actually and was the shop car for Straight Line Inc.
You guys have been missing it if this is first episode you've seen! They have had new episodes every wed night for the past couple months now! Last one was 2 Alcohol mountain motor 1200hp+ cars. Also there was a couple motorcycle races, a shifter cart race, lots of crazy stuff. heck this weeks episode was the first repeat of the show they have aired in 2 months. Its a pretty cool show but sometimes gets lame.
the first episode was the greatest with the old honda motorcycle versus the new harley davidson, the poor honda lost

Ive been going up to 75th & Lemont when I get a chance and there are alot of cars there on Saturday nights, lots of F-bodys and Stangs.
Some guy in a SS tried messing with me up there, needless to say, I handed his a$$ to him, I dont think he saw that coming..

I've been around 75th and lemont a couple times this year. Many times its guys from Chitownracing.com that go there. Also sometimes there are guys on the Midwest section of LS1Tech.com that hang there and MFBA.org once in a while too. Actually looks there is going to be a good turnout at 75th this friday as some out of town guys are going to be there to set something up possibly even big money races.
The one time we were gonna go down there i got pinched hard on the way down ... Mr. tune was there. That night sucked!!!!!!
What did the guy with the TA look like?? I may know him...
I haven't seen the show though. When is it on?? I'm kind of in on the whole street racing scene... I won't mess with anything above a 350Z right now though...

Its just a big hang out spot in a parking lot by White Castle on 75th & Lemont.
There are all kinds of cars and bikes, but lots F-bodies and Mustangs.
maybe i'll have to come down some time.
It does seem to be slowing down some though, not as many people out lately.
We have been going there and the Streets of Woodfield trying to find the hang out spots....now Ive heard that alot of people are going out to Dekalb....
Im might try 75th again this weekend though, SixVi6 has me wanting to check it out on Friday now
