I thought the rtr buggy was a turd??? Why would they use it for the platform for there trug????
I saw the pics of this on RCCA this morning. I like the look and might just keep my 7.5 truggy now because I could upgrade to this spec if I can get my hands on the arms, chassis, and longer CVD's/dogbones. Heck then I would not have to run goofy offset wheels too.. hmmm. I like.

This is 7.5 based with long arms and longer chassis. I hope to GOD they didn't really use the 7.5 sport driveline for this truggy though. the 7.5 sports bggest downfall was the cheap soft pot metal ring and pinion gears, 4 sipder geared diffs (rather than 6 total), and sadly I already see the junk plastic spur gear.
The spur is plastic!?!?!? Holly crap you gotta be joking!!!

I couldnt see that the chassis was extended
more and more options for truggy, but why wouldn't they base it off of the 777 a well known winner.
It looks really cheap. No center Cva's looks like a 7.5 with bigger tires and and a plastic spur gear. Engine has a real small cooly head almost looks like an .18 head

Also look at the over head pic of the entire truck. See anything wrong???

Thats right the toe is really messed up the left rear is toed in and the right is not. Not sure how you do that with the toe adjustment brace in the rear, must not have had the wheel nuts tight or something, kinda sloppy for promo photos though.

Yes that is right I am back from the mouse. Mickey took all my money.....
Also look at the servo steering link... CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its a turd!
yeah the more I look at the pics it IS a 7.5 Sport POS with a longer chassis, longer arms, and larger wheels and tires. That sport platform was barley tough enough to use as a basis for the landmax.. I don't know how they can use that for a larger heavier truggy. ugggh..

I sure hope they come out with a standard version version kit with no engine or electronics that has at least CVA's, hardened ring and pinions, steel spur gear, and Kanai II style hardened chassis.
Six

There is a guy on Rcuniverse and hotbodies forums I think his name is Nitrosense both places, he is making a longer chassis for the kanai series and is making longer aluminum arms also. He is suppose to make killer chassis, he is making LSP ones also and they have gotten good reviews. Might be worth checking out.....
not too bad looking, but how does it perform overall?
