I am getting a new motor for my T-Maxx...currently I have stock diffs and R/P and stock axles.

I already have the parts to upgrade my diffs (Kippster alum. diff cups and RRP gears) and have a full set of CVD's.

I am already in the middle of tear down to change arms. Should I go ahead and upgrade now, or put it back together the way it was and wait to see if things start to break??
what motor?
The diffs were one thing I never had problems with on maxx trucks.
Sirio .23

isnt it to better just to put it now so you dont have to do it later and then you can have stock as back up for later just my 2 cents

Diffs are always giving me a problem. If It didn't require CVDs, Id get UE 7.5 diffs.
I had busted output yokes, axles, finnaly went with CVD's but never had problems with the diffs.
welcome to the wonderful world of owning a t-maxx. Everything needs upgrading to make it work good.
It a toss up...I think I'm going to put in the CVD's but leave the diffs for now. It's a hassel to tear open the hybrid bulks.
