Wait a minute am I a part of this conversation or is everbody ignoring me. I am no wishy washy "chicago fan" and I am not saying that your saying that I am But come on if you love baseball and truly love it then it doesnt matter who you root for only that you appreciate that you have baseball to watch and history to remember. There are moments in sports that may never be repeated. That you may only see once in a lifetime. Recognize this and you will appreciate the game even more and understand its history. Baseball is game of compromise, balance, strategy and sheer will of spirit and athletics. Its history is made up great players and managers who played fair and won or lost, or cheated their way to the top. Baseball is a game of deception. It makes you believe, it makes you hate, you wear your heart on your sleeve. But if you see through the BS you will see its a philosophy and not just a game. That who you rooted for is meaningless and only the history counts. Because in the end you'll only remember what when and where you were when it happened.
