not trying to start anything bruce and not trying to piss you off. Ive been speaking with roy for about the past week and even talking to his buddy glenn at the same time. They've told me everything about what there doing and the results of certain actions. There hasnt been one bad thing to report about that bushing yet and when i read your first post about it, it sounded like you were against it because it was gonna cause problems. So far theres nothing but perfect results and thats why he is selling them publicly now. Not trying to start sh*t with you but i must have taken your post the wrong way. And i dont need slaydens autograph because i could always ask him myself on the grid. Thanks anyway tho .

One thing I'd like to add. How about everyone and anyone who grinds down the nub on a crackshaft to remove starting systems and install bumpstart backplates? You're taking off weight which is not even centered. That could throw off the balance on the crankshaft. I've never seen a complaint about it. I guess the only question that needs to be asked is, how much does that spacer weigh? Enough to cause a problem? Maybe, maybe not. It seems that rd racing has had great success by adding it.

I'm not siding with anyone on this issue, just pointing out another weight modification done to engines for years with nothing but great success. This doesn't look to be any different IMO.

My Blog <-- Could this be the new Chitown R/C color scheme? You decide!
