Opinion about tracks? - 08-29-2005, 07:52 PM

What is it that draws you to a track, what is the main feature of a track that you like?

I think a great track would have some of all your choices, but I chose lots of turns. I dont seem to favor the long fast straights.

I like tracks with a little of everything. Rockpile is a great example. One nice long straight, a cool high flying crossover jump, the monster hill/jump, good amount of turns in the middle. All around fun track.

My Blog <-- Could this be the new Chitown R/C color scheme? You decide!

flowing...

obstakles that would cause unnessary damage to cars... like wood supported sides of jumps, and the wood is higher than the dirt.... NOT GOOD.

im tired of "tame" tracks... let us get some air!!!!!!!!!!! but have a nice landing area so its not a part breaker....maybe a step down landing for the trucks that dont get the distance the bugs do.

in fields that we can never clean out the motors = bad.... maybe a coupla turns then a short straight....

big jumps...

i kinda like the straight in front of the dr stand....reason is, on the far side, the pipes start to hide the car.... i hit someone that was up against the pipe on a back straight.... didnt know it hit it till i seen parts fly.... from his car... its just to fast and far away for stuff like that.

big jumps

no corrigated tubing...www.tiltyard.com there has to be a smaller diameter product out there that is cheap...

oh and big jumps, heh almost forgot to mention that.

and NO jumps that you land flat bottom, to hard on equipment.
