rc10gt clutch problems - Chitown R/C - Chicago's Largest RC Car and Truck Community

I bought a new engine for my rc10gt and now after putting it back together the clutch bell and spur gear do not spin freely. It seems like something is holding it up on the clutch bell. I installed the 4 in 1 clutch shoes. Any ideas of what could be wrong?

hmmm. did you check the CB before you installed the motor to make sure the CB spins freely?

Mesh too tight?

you need a clutch shim kit...the shaft is to short and your cb screw is tight to your bearing...

Hold the vehicle closer to your monitor so I can get a better look at the problem......
