Hey guys!! Sorry its been quite some time since I have posted. It took me quite some time to catch up on the thread. It sounds like there was some complaning going on here. Every club is its own club, They can run it however they want. I will not bash any club! The way I look at it is, they did a pretty good job even if its out in a corn feild with weeds. At least they are enjoying the hobby as much as I and all you others do! The Details I am talking about are alot!! We are looking into buying some land. The NON for profit thing is out. Now the reason that is out is not beacuse we want to make any money. I got a hold of the state and we got all the papers to file for a Not for profit org. And it thick. Alot of headaches just to get the title. We are going to probably be a LLC. Thats the easyest and fastest way to do this. We are going to be more than just a club. THere will be a club for the track, but there will also be More serious Racers! Besides, funding right now is a big issue. We are working on all that.

Thanks for the support!!

Justin, the easiest and fastest way would be to build the track, set a date when you'll be open, let people know the date and hold races. You'll get racers to show up and continue to race there if it's a nice track.

For what it's worth...racers don't care who or what owns the track. They just want a a place to race.

Hey Justin...quick question.....how old are you?

I had it in my mind that Justin is 19, but I can't tell you where I thought I saw that.

You could always buy land with your LLC and then let a club come on to your land, either your club or another club or more than 1 club. Usually I don't see LLCs or corps buying land. Usually you buy it as a person and then lease it to a corp. Anything is doable, but some ways are more typical. I am curious nobody dug into my previous comments and asked to use my land.

Justin, one of my sayings is "I can do anything, but I can't do everything." At some point, you will need to be able to direct folks in ways that they know what they can do to help.

Not that I have a problem stating my age, I would like to know why you ask. I am not trying to be mean or anything, but why does that matter. We will be directing folks in the right way shortly. You guys just have to trust me on it. I know thats hard to do. But it will be here. We are pushing our attorney very hard right now to get this done. We went back to LHR last night ad he was telling us that we need to get everything a go with the townships/counties/city before we do anything. He has done this many times. He builds a track, someone complains about the sound, and all that time and money was a waist because it got shut down because of one person. That is all the red tape we have to cross. There is alot of paper work that is being done. There are alot of stuff that has to be done when you want to put a track around things. We do not want a track out in the middle of no where.

I was just wondering, that's all. I was trying to make sense of everything you have talked about in this thread. Going back over your posts it dawned on me that I might not be reading an adult's concepts and ideas.

Once your track is open and you are racing I have 6 people who will come and check it out with me the first time we come.

I'm sure you'll post here and on rctech once you are open. I'll keep my eye out.
