I got hold one at the hobby shop today and wow. The quality of parts is amazing. It rolls super smooth, steering assembly is butter. Looks like it's gunna be a killer machine, and to boot it feels very light even Ready to go. Plus the sway bar design is killer, Mike knows what I'm talking about.

ae is not the dark side, and the front end looks a little fragile, but it looks pretty cool. and this is not ira, im over at his house allan 42r

Al the front end is pretty beefed up if u look at it in person, arms are super thick, the tower is 4mm and has alot of meat where it is connected as well. my only gripe really is that the front bumper has kinda a loose fit but i dont think it will be a problem

had to go down to the shop today and check one out and your right the aarms are really beefy but the outer hinge pins, cast hubs, steering rack look a little weak. but what really got me was the plastic upper deck plate that the bell cranks sit under. but i did like the brakes and the way the linkage for the front and rear brakes are on top of the center diff plate. and the fuel tank is nice and wide for a lower cg with a built in splash gaurd. cant wait to see the car run.

all those good things u mentioned were on the TTR, see it was a pimp ride! Cast knuckles blow, i ripped on kyosho for having them and ill rip on AE for it; how damn hard is it to machine a set of knuckles unreal. The steering rack shouldnt be a problem, i run a CF one on my truggy with no issue. Saxton was talking about the ackerman top plate and said the only time they broke them was in europe or some shit where there were concrete sections on the track, he said if ur really worried about it to boil it for 10-15 minutes. Gonna be alum ackerman top plate and towers out in the near future too. tank is bitchin for sure though, thats my favorite part lol
