Just went down that road man. Did a complete rebuild,new switches and wheels, new servos,motor, shocks and other goodies. Now I just picked up new chassis so I get to start all over! I actually love wrenching.

It's good and all. however, I dont like to wait and I gotta save for a motor exhaust and servo, battery starter box Lol.

i would try changing the diffs and shocks first. Im going to try 5-7-5 to start. prolly keep shocks at 400 with the black pistons. trying 2 in from outer for shock positons, still outer hole on bottom. It's a pretty open track with big jumps. Thats what im doing, we could just share whatever our experiences are after practice and what not.
