Drag Racing Time! (BigSquidRC)

Hey All,
I know there are not a lot of drag race fans here but....I wanted to tell everyone that there are a few drag events coming up. Even if you don't have a drag car, the events are still cool to go watch. There are usually more then 70 cars that show up, with some amazing paint jobs, and they are fast as all HE!!

I'm sure you have watched some of the vids on BigSquidRC.com, and a few of you seemed to really like my King Squid Dragster at the last bash. There will probably be several of these trashing me, as well as pro-mods and all sorts of other stuff. Nitro and Electric!

There are people coming from probably more then 3 states to try and maybe set some speed records as well. Current drag speed record is 104mph in 132 feet! That's insane! But it sounds like 1 or 2 people coming might get close. That alone is worth seeing!

Anyway, posted the flyer and of course the trash talking has started already in my forum. (Take every thing there with a grain of salt. These guys trashtalk because it's fun, and that's part of drag scene here)

Sounds fun.

I saw all classes, but i don't have "dragsters" just bashers with big motors.

Will there be any type of class that might let me run a Hyper One Seven, Jammin buggy, or a truggy for fun?

Heck, I might even get the batmobile up and running for this! Would be funny to see it stage even though it'll be slow as hell.

In the past, we have had seriously anything goes. So there was a buggy class, and a monster truck class. As more and more people were getting drag cars though, these classes got smaller. So there needs to be at least a 'few' to let them run.

I think they have been trying to stay away from the basher vehicles a little more. So not sure how many will show up. But always possible. It's a fun time, lots of trash talking.

It wouldn't hurt to come out with them(unless your like hours away) but if it's less then a hour.. give it a try, and if a few others show up.. we'll have a race.
