I heard that recently they are allowing Lipos and brushless. But I was saying you'd run with the NItro Truggys. Looks like you'ld be able to compete.

Can't run Lipo in races, but you can run lipo there during open practice and stuff. Mainly because lipo provides a major advantage in that you can run the entire main pretty much without pitting. So when someone comes in to pit you've got a couple of seconds on them in an instant.

Though Li-Ion should be allowed, its doesn't catch fire even when you puncture it with a nail. The M1 A123 cells work great, and you can pick them up for about $10 a cell on ebay (dewalt 36v packs contain 10 M1 cells for $100. Make your own 5s2p packs for about 16.5v @ 4600mah) Thats what i'm using for my offroad brushless whenever I get around to it. Already have the electric motor mounts for the Hyper 1/7, and the Jammin buggy/truggy.

Bring it out, I'm sure there will be no problem.... It's only a club race most weekends so it's all just for fun.

Having fun again!!!!
