So it's just a 100 yard jump, more or less. How far does that Revo go when it jumps the train trax on the Traxxas website? I think your take off ramp will need to be pretty big to clear that fountain. It would be fun to watch someone try, though.

The fountain also has an alarm so if your truck doesn't make it they will know

Maybe we should think smaller to begin with....like maybe jumping the drinking fountain at the local park first.

Seriously, Noto, if you use Thompsons waterseal paint, that thing will laugh at rain. I use it to paint my house and it beads up water 4 years later. This stuff is great. It's just not easy to paint over with anything else besides more waterseal, because other paints and stains won't adhere.

Maybe, if you scuff it. The paint guy at Ace should be able to advise you on what would work best. If you used a good house paint for the black, it will probably last you a long time anyway.

Be sure and paint a center line on that ramp....it's as wide as a 2 lane road!!! Yellow will look great on the black. Then you can put it right in the middle of the street and take a great picture!!

ya well i havent been here in a while but i m notos friend and i got a tmaxx, so this is inspiring... i just need to get it back and running after a good beating, but also noto i wanna kno how wide the ramp it b/c it seems like 10 feet long ramp and 5 feet tall but iono i'd bet its a 8x4 piece of plywood so idk if i could make that going top speed and having the house in my way LOL so i will think bout it and see maybe it might happen???

lol the yellow lines down the middle is a good idea. i was thinking of putting red flames and stuff at the tip iono there both good ideas and the yellow line thing is ten times easier. i think it is an 8x4 piece of wood or longer. i had to sit outside of homedepot for an hour and a half with the stupid peice of wood cause it wouldnt fit in our car that we brought so my bro went back and my mom took the van. lol im happy the wood is perfect for the ramp.
