Starter boxes that take (2) 7.2 packs actually pump out 14.4 volts to the starter box motor.
So a starter box with (2) 7.2 volt packs will have more torque than a starter box with a 12 volt gelcell. More volts = more power (and torque) |

Since I had to make a custom motor mount for my Chrome top box, the flywheel sits too close to the wheel and doesn't have enough time to spool up before the flywheel hits the starter wheel, so I need to hold the back end of the truck up, then push on the top when my other hand for it to spool up, then I hover the flywheel ontop of the starter wheel till it fires up. (what I'm saying is, do what I do and see if the starter wheel just needs to spool up a bit)
